Fireman Sam lives in Piekepolder, a cosy place by the sea. Led by commander Staal, he and his colleagues Elvis and Jenny spring into action when there is a fire or someone is in distress. The fire brigade regularly has to turn out because of Norbert Puk, an enterprising boy who often gets into trouble but has the best intentions. It is a nice, funny series in which a lot of attention is paid to fire safety at home. Fun to watch and very educational at the same time!
